Zadar
Zadar is ancient city, whose past goes back 3,000 years, on a tiny peninsula of the Dalmatian coast, overlooking turquoise waters of the Adriatic sea, with breathtaking sunsets and Mediterranean climate all year round. This Croatian gem, an open-air museum, lies on the north part of the Dalmatia region and faces the islands of Ugljan and Pašman. Zadar city walls were rightly added to UNESCO's World Heritage List. In Zadar, some of the most beautiful monuments of architecture and cultural heritage of the Adriatic coast can be found.
